Choosing the right neighborhood can make or break your Erasmus experience. Each Turkish city has distinct neighborhoods with different vibes, price ranges, and accessibility. Here's what you need to know.
Istanbul Neighborhoods
- Kadıköy — vibrant, student-friendly, great nightlife and cafes (Asian side)
- Beşiktaş — lively, close to Boğaziçi University, waterfront restaurants
- Beyoğlu/Taksim — touristy but exciting, İstiklal Avenue, nightlife hub
